fami

Your own Google data, readable by your own AI agent.

fami is a personal, single-user setup by Granite Bagas. It lets AI coding agents running on the owner's computer read the owner's Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive, with read-only access.

What it does

What it cannot do

fami asks Google only for read-only permissions. It cannot send email, create or change calendar events, or edit, share or delete files.

How it works

fami runs entirely on the owner's computer. The open-source gog command-line tool talks to Google's APIs using fami's OAuth client, and AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex and opencode call it when the owner asks them something. There is no fami server, and fami does not collect or store anyone's data.

Who can use it

fami is not a public service. Only Google accounts belonging to its owner are connected to it.

Read the privacy policy for exactly which data fami accesses and how it is handled.
